The First Year of Acro n' Twist: A Story That Has Only Just Begun!
A year ago, this was an empty space. Today, looking back, we can hardly believe how much we managed to accomplish during our very first year.
Our little “gem” in Vrilissia was filled with children’s smiles, laughter, energy, music, and movement.
Together, we organized unforgettable children's parties, welcomed distinguished guests and personalities from the worlds of sports and the arts, and in February, we officially celebrated the grand opening of Acro n’ Twist. It was an evening filled with music, dancing, smiles, and people who became part of our story from the very beginning.
Then came the time to step beyond our training hall and showcase our work on the performance floor.
We participated in Gymnastics for All festivals throughout Attica, presented unique choreographies, and watched our athletes shine. Important distinctions and gold medals followed, with one of the highlights being our participation in the Hellas Gym for Life Challenge 2026.
And just like that, our competitive team packed their bags and traveled to Kefalonia for the 36th Kefalonia Gym Festival “Anna Pollatou”. It was a journey filled with experiences, new friendships, smiles, and memories that we will cherish forever
Of course, our own major celebration could not be missing.
The first ACROVERSE was much more than a simple showcase. It was the moment when all the pieces of our first year came together on one stage: children, teenagers, and adults; different groups, different styles of movement, one united community. An entire arena was filled with people, music, creativity, and emotion.
And when the competitive season came to an end, we did not stop.
Our Summer Camp filled our days with games, sports and creative activities, dance, gymnastics, laughter, and of course... the sea!
Throughout this first year, we got to know one another, created, traveled, celebrated, and most importantly, built memories that will stay with us forever.
And if there is one thing we learned from this year, it is that Acro n’ Twist is much more than a gymnastics academy.
It is its people.
It is the children who cannot wait to step into the gym.
It is the parents who place their trust in us.
It is the athletes who strive, fall, and get back up again.
It is the friends who support us.
It is all the energy that is created here every single day.
And this is only the beginning. You can watch our first year below:
