A Strong Start for Acro n' Twist at the We Me Dance Freestyle Battles!

The new season has started with dance, energy, and a special achievement for Acro n' Twist! On September 6, 2026, our academy took part in the We Me Dance Freestyle Battles in the Under 14 category, represented by 11-year-old Athina Goufa.

For Athina, this was a unique first experience in the world of dance competitions. Although she had no previous competitive dance experience, she managed to stand out among highly skilled dancers, proving that a love for what you do, consistency in training, and the courage to try something new can take you further than you ever imagined.

Through her performance and determination, Athina successfully advanced through the first round of the battles and secured a place among the final eight dancers in her category!

This achievement marks an important first step in her dance journey and provided her with valuable experience, new inspirations, and even greater motivation for the future.

At Acro n' Twist, we believe that sports and dance are not only about awards and distinctions. They are also about effort, perseverance, self-confidence, and the joy of participation. Every new experience is an opportunity for our students to discover their potential, grow as individuals, and continue developing their skills.

Our first participation of the new season could not have started in a better way.

And this is only the beginning!
